Miss Shen Fastpitch Softball

Miss Shen softball presents the 2008 Miss Shen Elite Summer softball clinic, June 28 – July 3, 2008 from 8:00AM – 1:00 PM at the Miss Shen fields at Clifton Commons. The Elite Summer Softball Camp is being offered for female athletes between the ages of 11-17 who wish to increase their overall knowledge of softball. Campers will have the opportunity to play softball each day, work hard, improve, make new friends, and have fun. Campers are encouraged to develop new skills and achieve a new level of play and self confidence. Camp instruction includes hitting and bunting, defensive skills that are position specific, base running, and pitching. Two new aspects will be scrimmages along with a catching station. In addition to skills training, we will have discussions with area college coaches and private trainers that will include topics such as preparation and recruiting of the high school athlete for college level competition.

Miss Shen Softball is pleased to announce the 2008 Frozen Ropes Summer Camp. The camp will be held July 28 through August 1, 2008 at the Miss Shen softball fields at Clifton Commons. The camp is open to all girls ages 6-12 and will focus on developing skills for younger players of all ability levels. Activities will include age-appropriate drills and instruction, as well as daily scrimmages. Campers can choose between a half day (9:00 AM-12:00 PM) or full day (9:00AM – 3:00 PM ) session. Rainouts will be held at the Frozen Ropes facility in Albany.
